Abstract

Rwanda is often thought of in the context of the genocide that was committed there in 1994. Today, however, it is a safe and beautiful eco-tourist destination that is largely unknown to much of the outside world.

If you like mountain gorillas behind bars at the zoo, perhaps you would be interested in sitting next to one in Rwanda’s Parc National des Volcans.

This talk will show you how to do that for about what it would cost you to visit San Francisco for a few days. Illustrated with photos and high quality video personally taken during my visit.
