PC Telephony: Where we came from and where we are going

Abstract
The talk describes the beginning of modern VoIP PBXes. David is going to talk about the first work with Mark Spencer (Digium) and the first Asterisk versions. He will bring some of the early hardware which was used to connect Asterisk to analog phone lines. And he is going to talk about the future.
As the CEO of a hardware company he sees the different VoIP solutions (e.g. Asterisk and FreeSwitch) from an somehow objective 3rd Party view and will share some of the lessons learned in the process.
